Semi-Detached House
Total renovation and refit of tired, large semi-detached house in north London. Sue Gilbert added a large, single story extension, designed and installed a modern, sleek kitchen with separate utility area and then renovated the remainder of the house. Installed new windows, new bathrooms, new wiring and new central heating. The result is a modern house with much more living space for an expanding family and ideal for entertaining.
This spacious home has a contemporary feel, with clean lines and white fitments against a background of neutral tones. The bathroom manages to be contemporary yet classic, the large kitchen houses numerous cupboards and an island with masses of workspace. Tall bi-folding patio doors with slim aluminium frames allow natural light into the room and are fully retractable for ultimate open plan living.
